UNICEF, operating from its Geneva base and Barcelona technology centre, is seeking an Operations Manager (P-4) to lead the division's operational and administrative services in a scalable, efficient way.

The role reports to the DID Chief of Operations and requires an advanced degree with extensive experience in operations management, budgeting, facilities, and ICT within a multinational setting. Fluency in English is essential, with additional UN language skills a plus.

Competenze

• Advanced university degree in business management, financial management, accounting or related operations; or a first level degree with professional accounting designation and extra experience.
• 8+ years of professional experience at national and international level in operations management areas such as budget, finance, facilities, administration, supply/logistics, IT or HR; UNICEF/UN system experience preferred.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of another official UN language is an asset.

Mansioni

• Develop and oversee policy, procedures and strategies for operational delivery.
• Lead budget preparation and implementation.
• Coordinate administrative support for Geneva and Barcelona offices; manage property and contracts.
• Provide leadership and people management across operations functions.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the DID Chief of Operations.
