Job summary

UNICEF seeks an experienced Operations Manager to drive the Digital Inclusion unit's operations in Switzerland and the Barcelona technology centre. You will align governance, finance, procurement, and admin with the division's mission to expand digital opportunities for children.

The role reports to the DID Chief of Operations and requires strong leadership, strategic oversight, and collaboration with country offices and partners to ensure scalable, robust operations.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in business, finance, or related field; professional accounting designation preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of external/internal operations management experience at national and international levels.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional UN languages desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic operations for UNICEF DI across Switzerland and Barcelona tech centre.
• Oversee budget, financial management, facilities, procurement, and admin processes.
• Ensure governance, risk management, compliance, and efficient service delivery.
