SBM Offshore in Switzerland is seeking a Material Controller to manage and maintain the flow of materials for projects and operations, ensuring efficient inventory control and timely deliveries in a challenging oil and gas environment.

You will coordinate with Projects, Maintenance and Supply Chain, perform accurate stock records, oversee material movements, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards to support uninterrupted execution.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in stock management, supply chain or logistics.
• Proven track record in material control or inventory management.
• Experience with ERP and inventory tracking tools.

Aufgaben

• Inventory management: maintain and lead accurate stock records.
• Material movement: manage in/out stock movements and transfers.
• Coordination: communicate with yard, warehouse and cargo teams.
• Documentation: maintain material records and generate reports.
• Compliance: follow safety, environmental and industry regs.
• Material planning: forecast demand and support planning strategies.
• Material replenishment: initiate replenishment or transfers as needed.
• Inspection and quality control: verify incoming materials and address discrepancies.
