Zusammenfassung

SBM Offshore in Switzerland is seeking a Crane and Hydraulic Specialist to support the maintenance team in offshore crane and hydraulic system upkeep. You will apply technical expertise to troubleshoot complex equipment issues and drive reliable performance.

You will mentor mechanical technicians, ensure adherence to procedures and safety standards, and coordinate with the wider maintenance organization to meet project and asset integrity goals.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience and/or qualified to N/SVQ/HNC/HND in Mechanical Engineering or local equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in Hydraulic Cranes Maintenance. Offshore environment preferred.
• Good knowledge of Crane and Lifting International Standards.
• Familiarity with CMMS such as AMOS / IFS and ePTW.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Experience with hydrocarbon processing systems and utilities.
• Knowledge of Permit to Work, Mechanical Isolation Standards and Risk Assessment.
• English proficiency at least B1 per CEFR.
• Medical fitness per GEMS Health Requirements to Work Offshore.

Background

• The Crane and Hydraulic Specialist support the maintenance team by offering technical expertise related to the maintenance and repair of offshore cranes and hydraulic systems. They can lead technicians through those complex equipment issues, implementing effective solutions that ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• With attention to detail, they ensure adherence to procedures and regulatory standards, ensuring compliance with OandM contractor requirements and local regulations across all facets of work.
• As technical leaders, they leverage their seniority, extensive experience, and knowledge to mentor mechanical technicians.

Pre-hire Qualifications and Experience
