Vertex Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Pricing & Market Access Director in Switzerland to lead payer strategy development and execution across product lines. You will work closely with Commercial and Development teams to optimize value, access, and reimbursement, with emphasis on the Swiss market.

The role requires strong analytical capabilities, established stakeholder networks, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Strong hands-on experience pricing and negotiating in the Swiss market.
• Established local network with key stakeholders and decision makers.
• Ability to think strategically and recommend pricing/market access actions.
• Experience representing the company externally.
• Strong analytical skills and HEOR/pricing application knowledge.
• Outstanding written and oral communication for internal/external audiences.
• Relationship building across levels and geographies.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for complex negotiations.

• Lead payer strategic planning to optimize value and access.
• Develop market access strategies and core pricing workstreams.
• Present payer position to internal stakeholders for commercial decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align value propositions and evidence plans.
• Support pricing strategy with research, data, and analyses.
• Contribute to financial forecasting and access-related business cases.
• Coordinate localization and tactical execution of pricing strategies.
• Support capability building and thought leadership in payer evolution.
• Partner with HEOR, public policy, marketing, and clinical teams.
