Job summary

Sika in Zürich seeks a Strategic Projects Associate to join our Strategy Team. This high-visibility role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and cross-functional collaboration across regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or similar.
• Min. 3-4 years of experience with strategic projects and data analysis at a top consulting company.
• Proven experience with analysis, process & concept design as well as implementation phases of the project in a workstream lead position
• Strong ability to connect the dots and create compelling stories suitable for the top management team
• Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills with ability of translating data insights into actionable plans
• High autonomy combined with an entrepreneurial mindset and a can-do attitude
• Positive and energetic spirit that brings innovative ideas that engage people around you
• Proficiency in Excel and Office suite, knowledge of data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, BI) is a plus
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), German is a plus
• Based in Zurich but flexible for occasional international travels

Responsibilities

• Interpret data, analyse results and define actions with Business, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations stakeholders to solve key business challenges
• Identify new opportunities provided by available data to generate valuable insights for the business and support growth
• Actively support countries / areas to review their strategic business plans and support translation into operations footprints through regular project drumbeats, dedicated workshops, as well as storytelling guidance and presentation drafting
• Play a key role in analysing the impact of M&A activities on country masterplans and support local teams during the integration processes
• Improve current and develop new processes and solutions and lead their roll-out across country organizations
• Support in drafting presentations and data visualizations for country / area / region top‑management leveraging insights identified through data analysis / workshops / other researches
• Create strong link with cross-functional teams to introduce and expand innovative solutions
