Job summary

Johnson Electric Group in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to own financial review and analysis, challenging results and turning data into insights. You will work with our Shared Service Centre and European Finance Leadership to oversee P&L and balance sheet reviews, CIT calculations, and Swiss statutory reporting.

The role emphasizes accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery to support confident business decisions, including interaction with external tax advisors and SNB filings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• CPA qualification would be an advantage.
• 7+ years of experience in accounting, controlling or financial analysis, ideally in an international manufacturing group.
• Strong accounting knowledge, including month-end close, Swiss statutory accounting and tax, and IFRS Group reporting.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory; French or German knowledge would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly P&L review, analysing variances against budget, forecast and prior year, with clear explanations for key movements.
• Review the monthly balance sheet and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of items.
• Oversee provisions, accruals, intercompany balances, and AP/AR reconciliations.
• Prepare financial analysis and management commentary for European Finance Leadership as part of monthly reporting.
• Prepare CIT computations, including tax provision, deferred tax and reconciliations; coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Own the Swiss statutory reporting calendar and ensure filings on time, including SNB reporting.
• Support Swiss statutory financial statements (Swiss CO) and IFRS reporting alignment.
• Coordinate external audits with JE and SSC teams; drive audit findings to closure.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centre in Hatvan and international teams; contribute to automation and reporting improvements (Power BI, Excel, AI tools).
