GE Vernova in Switzerland is seeking a qualified Sourcing & Commodity Manager to oversee electrical commodities for the Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units segment. You will manage supplier panels, negotiate contracts, and ensure suppliers meet project requirements.

You’ll collaborate cross-functionally, analyze data, drive process improvements, and lead supplier selection and PO changes. Travel about 10%, and a discretionary annual bonus may apply.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• This role would welcome prior experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management.
• Fluent English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage commercial aspects of purchase orders with suppliers for assigned commodities, including but not limited to negotiating and managing supplier panels.
• Contribute to supplier strategy and determine suppliers to solicit quotes for specific project demands.
• Lead negotiations and involve global commodity leader for key strategic material allocations.
• Ensure selected supplier can meet GE Vernova requirements and gain internal buy-in for exceptions.
• Manage purchase order changes and commercial claims with suppliers regarding delivery/quality issues.
• Develop content expertise for assigned commodities with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Identify and support process improvement activities.
• Communicate and resolve complex issues, building consensus and commitment from key stakeholders.
• Use data analytics and cross-functional inputs to support recommendations.
