GE Vernova in Switzerland seeks a senior buyer to manage commercial aspects of purchase orders for assigned electrical commodities within the Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units segment. You will negotiate, define supplier strategy, and coordinate with Procurement to secure favorable terms.

You will develop commodity content expertise, lead process improvements, and resolve complex issues with cross-functional stakeholders while mentoring less experienced colleagues. Travel about 10% is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge level comparable to a Bachelor/Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• Significant experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management.
• Fluent English language skills.

• Define supplier strategy and optimize supplier panels.
• Lead negotiations and allocate demands to suppliers.
• Coordinate supplier awards and PO placement with Procurement.
• Develop content expertise for assigned commodities.
