Zusammenfassung

GE Vernova is seeking a procurement professional to manage commercial aspects of purchase orders for electrical commodities within the Gas Power Heavy Duty New Units segment. You will define supplier strategy, solicit quotes, lead negotiations, and coordinate awards with the Procurement team.

The role requires significant sourcing experience, strong English communication, and the ability to resolve complex issues through data-driven analysis and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
• Significant experience in Sourcing & Commodity Management.
• Fluent English language skills.

Aufgaben

• Manage all commercial aspects of purchase orders with suppliers for assigned commodities.
• Define supplier strategy including management and optimization of supplier panels.
• Determine suppliers to solicit quotes from for specific project demands.
• Lead negotiations for critical scope and allocate demands to specific suppliers.
• Ensure selected supplier is capable of meeting all GE Vernova requirements; gain internal buy-in for exceptions.
• Coordinate supplier awards and purchase order placement with the Procurement team.
• Manage purchase order changes as necessary.
• Manage commercial claims with suppliers regarding delivery and quality issues.
• Develop content expertise for assigned commodities.
• Identify and support process improvement activities.
• Communicate and resolve complex issues, building consensus among stakeholders.
• Use data analytics and cross-functional inputs to support recommendations.
