Aufgaben

• Entwicklung und Implementierung globaler Beschaffungsstrategien für Elastomere (Direktmaterialien).
• Zusammenarbeit mit BUs, Engineering und Operations zur Ausrichtung der Beschaffung auf Geschäftsbedürfnisse.
• Aufrechterhaltung des Global Strategic Sourcing Operating Model und Sicherstellung der Lieferfähigkeit zum Best-Cost.
• Anwendung strukturierter Beschaffungsprozesse, Lieferantenbewertungen und Entwicklungspläne.
• Ziel von über 3% jährlicher Kostenreduktion im globalen Drittanbieterumsatz.
• Entwicklung einer Best Cost Country Supply Base aligned mit Unternehmenszielen, Fokus Osteuropa.
• Management eigener Materialkategorien hinsichtlich Kapazität, Wissen und Performance.
• Vertretung der Direktmaterialkategorien in der VAT-Organisation, Kosten- und Lieferbasisoptimierung.
• Beratung zu Marktentwicklungen, Risiken und Chancen für die Kategorien.
• Leitung funktionsübergreifender Category-Sourcing-Gremien und KPI-Überwachung.

Overview

As Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will develop and execute global strategies for elastomers (direct materials) to secure best-cost supply. You will partner with Business Units, Engineering, and Operations to align sourcing with product needs and growth. You will sustain VAT’s Global Sourcing Operating Model and drive improvements in quality, delivery, and cost. You will lead category strategies, supplier relations, and risk management across multiple regions to achieve measurable cost reductions and a robust supply base.

• Develop and implement global sourcing strategies for elastomers (direct materials)
• Partner with BUs, Engineering and Operations to align sourcing with business needs
• Maintain the Global Strategic Sourcing Operating Model and ensure supply capability at best cost
• Apply structured sourcing processes, supplier assessments, and development plans for a compliant supply base
• Aim for >3% recurring cost reductions annually across global 3rd party spend
• Develop Best Cost Country Supply Base aligned with company objectives, focusing on Eastern Europe where possible
• Manage own material categories in terms of capacity, knowledge, and performance
• Represent direct material categories within the VAT organization and drive cost and supply base optimization
• Provide guidance on market trends, risks, and opportunities for the categories
• Lead cross-functional category sourcing boards and monitor KPIs
• manage supplier relationships globally
• Perform supply base risk assessments and contribute to continuous improvement of Direct Materials practices

Zentrale Anforderungen

• 3–4 years in-depth strategic and operational sourcing with global category management
• Experience with category-specific production techniques and processes
• Knowledge of category sourcing markets
• Office Software / IT proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Sourcing in Eastern Europe and Asia; experience with Best Cost Country and spend relocation
• Experience in a global, complex organization
• Experience in machine building, vacuum technology, and semiconductors
