Zusammenfassung

AMPS is seeking a Legal Negotiator to support the Legal Department in managing claim negotiations, appeals, and related documentation. You will coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve claims efficiently while ensuring compliance with plan provisions, contracts, and regulations.

You will review, negotiate, and document settlement processes, maintain records in internal systems, and communicate clearly to manage expectations and timelines throughout the negotiation

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2–5 years of experience in legal, paralegal, claims, or healthcare-related roles preferred.
• Experience with settlement negotiations, claims resolution, or appeals preferred.
• Experience applying ERISA and ACA requirements in claim reviews is preferred.

Aufgaben

• Review claim information to evaluate settlement strategies.
• Prepare and negotiate settlement offers with clients and third parties.
• Manage appeals through resolution following internal procedures and regulations.
• Maintain thorough documentation of negotiations and outcomes in systems.
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders regarding status and timelines.
• Identify risks and escalate to Legal leadership when needed.
