Job summary

Beyond Gravity Zürich is seeking a seasoned professional to join the Satellite Business Unit's Commercial Team as a bid/proposal manager. You will own end-to-end proposal management for institutional and commercial space bids, coordinating across Sales, Engineering, Finance, Procurement and PMO to ensure high-quality submissions and timely delivery.

You will drive governance, post-submission reviews, and lessons learned, with APMP certifications and a deep knowledge of ESA/ECSS frameworks

Qualifications

• Significant experience in bid management, proposal management, or capture management within the space, defence, or aerospace sector.
• Deep familiarity with government and institutional RFP/ITT structures including compliance matrices, technical volumes, and cost volume requirements.
• Exceptional project management and organisational skills with ability to manage multiple bids under hard deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills to edit and improve proposal content from diverse contributors.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams (engineering, finance, legal) under time pressure.
• APMP Foundation and/or APMP Professional certifications are preferred.
• Familiarity with Beyond Gravity's product portfolio and major satellite/bid programs.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end proposal management for all assigned bids: planning, scheduling, compliance checking, section coordination, review management, and submission.
• Develop and maintain a bid schedule for each pursuit; track progress daily during active bid periods.
• Produce and maintain a compliance matrix for each RFP/ITT, ensuring all requirements are addressed.
• Coordinate inputs from Engineering, Finance, Procurement and Program Management; chase contributions and resolve blockers.
• Integrate all proposal volumes into a coherent document set and conduct internal compliance reviews.
• Own physical delivery of the proposal, electronic submission, and evidence of submission.
• Coordinate proposal review activities and ensure formal approvals prior to submission.
