Qualifikationen

• Relevant experience in steam turbine design or operability.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology from an accredited university.

Aufgaben

• Identify operating parameters on the steam turbine for safe operation; interfacing with the ST Controls Engineering team to provide input into the steam turbine controller.
• Define the instrumentation required for safe and effective operation of the steam turbine, including positioning and specifications for sensors or instruments and provide guidance to the mechanical design teams.
• Support the entry to commercial operation of new steam turbine equipment from new unit requisition projects, supporting commissioning activities and monitoring unit behavior.
• Analyze operational field data of the operational steam turbine fleet. Share results and recommendations with internal steam turbine design teams.
• Support the development of technical standards, best practices, design practices and process improvements as a member of the ST Operability team; lead small teams to drive results and definition.
• Support Product Service with operability questions for the operational fleet.
