Digital Asset is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to design, plan, implement, and test features for its products, tackling large, complex, multi-component work with a clear view of customer needs. You will contribute across the stack and collaborate with teammates to deliver high-quality, thoroughly tested solutions.

The role requires expertise in DA products and Daml, strong distributed and event-driven systems knowledge, architectural leadership, and the ability to estimate projects.

Qualifikationen

• Expert in DA products and broad deep understanding of Daml.
• Strong understanding of scalable, distributed and event-driven systems.
• Architectural leadership and design thinking.
• In-depth knowledge in at least one functional language, ideally Scala or Haskell.
• Able to estimate projects accurately.

Aufgaben

• Delivers high-quality and thoroughly-tested code, following coding standards.
• Independently and collaboratively delivers high-quality advancements to DA products with scope 2 months or less.
• Breaks down large projects into smaller tasks and communicates them effectively.
• Programs in multiple languages including Scala, Haskell, Java, Go, and Daml.
• Develops on MacOS, Linux, and Windows with Linux as primary deployment target.
• Uses Git and GitHub for source code management.
• Leverages product expertise to define solutions and direct team members.
• Mentors other team members and improves team processes.
