Job Description

We are looking for a hands-on Machine Learning Engineer to strengthen and accelerate our core development. You will be joining Specto Medical, reporting to the Head of AI.

You will build robust AI and image processing pipelines and help turn ideas into production-ready software. We are looking for someone who likes building things, taking ownership, and making complexity manageable within a regulated environment. Our models ship inside the cleared device. You will be performing the following tasks:

• Accelerate ML Development: Design, build, and optimize image processing and machine learning setups. You will own training and inference pipelines and help us move faster without sacrificing robustness.
• Master Data Engineering: Take charge of data management, including data governance and data lineage, ensuring our training sets are clean, traceable, and secure. You will own data platform architecture, tooling and standards.
• Build for Scale and Maintainability: Create solutions that are simple to operate, easy to understand, and built to last. We value systems that make future development easier, not more complicated.
• Own Your Work: Operate as a true maker. You take a high-level goal, figure out the execution path, and run with it. You are comfortable making decisions and driving things forward.

• You are completely fluent in Python and PyTorch.

• You have roughly 5 years of experience doing this in production.
