Job summary

PAVE Space SA is building LYOBA, a heavy kick stage for delivering up to 4-ton payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits within 24 hours. You will join a small avionics software team and establish the framework to verify software readiness for flight, from tests to evidence for releases.

In Villeneuve, you will own the verification strategy, automate HiL campaigns, implement fault-injection, and maintain traceability from requirements to results, collaborating closely with hardware engineers to

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience verifying embedded software including integration testing on real hardware.
• Strong C++ skills and experience in bare-metal systems.
• Experience developing automated tests, fault-injection methods, and reusable frameworks.
• Translate requirements and failure scenarios into tests with explicit acceptance criteria.
• Practical experience with Git and CI pipelines, preferably GitLab.
• Fluent English with clear technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Build the software verification framework from specifications to automated execution and reporting.
• Automate hardware-in-the-loop and flatsat test campaigns with the HiL lead.
• Develop fault-injection campaigns to verify fault detection and recovery.
• Verify software integration with avionics equipment and payload interfaces.
• Establish regression testing, coverage analysis and GitLab CI pipelines.
• Maintain traceability from requirements to tests and results for releases.
