Job summary

PAVE Space SA is developing LYOBA, a heavy kick stage capable of lifting up to 4-tonne payloads from LEO to high-energy orbits in under 24 hours. You will own a substructure, from design and sizing to verification, including static and dynamic analyses and supplier interfaces.

You will work on-site in Villeneuve (VD), shaping the vehicle with a small structures team. The role requires hands-on manufacturing awareness and real progress from design to flight-qualified hardware in Switzerland's

Qualifications

• 3–5 years designing and analysing primary and secondary metallic structures.
• Experience with FEA including static, dynamic, modal, buckling.
• Proficient with NX and Teamcenter workflows.
• Experience taking structures from design to qualification testing.
• Fluent English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and sizing of primary/secondary metallic structure assemblies.
• Perform structural analyses to justify designs (static, dynamic, buckling).
• Interface with suppliers: specs and follow-up through delivery.
• Define verification plan from test spec to acceptance.
• Manage boundaries between structure and adjacent subsystems.
