Zusammenfassung

Beyond Gravity in Zurich-Seebach seeks an Environmental Testing Engineer to plan, execute and analyze environmental tests for satellites, launchers and industrial customers. You will work with vibration, shock, TVAC, climatic chambers, and related measurement tasks on sophisticated hardware.

The role requires hands-on engineering, good documentation, and collaboration with customers and internal teams. Travel internationally, including Europe and the USA, is expected.

Qualifikationen

• Degree or equivalent in a technical field with testing experience.
• Practical experience with physical testing and measurement technologies.
• Strong understanding of measurement tech, electronics and physics.
• Proficient with MS Windows and standard IT tools.
• Fluent German and good English (B2+).

Aufgaben

• Plan, prepare and perform environmental simulation tests for internal and external customers.
• Operate the Test Center facilities including vibration, shock, centrifuge and TVAC.
• Develop and perform measurement tasks for environmental and static tests.
• Define testing methods and test profiles with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Advise design teams on technical feasibility and ensure requirements, scope, costs and schedules are considered.
• Prepare quotations for mechanical testing in accordance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017.
• Plan and coordinate the utilization of test equipment and facilities.
• Process and analyze measurement data and present test results clearly.
