Your responsibilities

• Develop, stabilize, and maintain the solution architecture for bids and projects throughout their lifecycle, including PCB design and execution.
• Serve as Electrical Architect within TAS CH systems engineering, overseeing product development.
• Lead architecture and requirements definition, including:
• Analysis of customer and stakeholder requirements
• Defining development and verification logic
• Defining interfaces and requirements for external partners
• Trade-off analyses of system concepts in multidisciplinary teams
• Power conversion, control, and data architecture definition
• Setting up flow-down budgets (mass, power, accuracy, TM/TC, etc.)
• Risk management
• Preparing key project documentation
• Verification control
• System configuration and support documentation
• Participation in proposal preparations
• Presentations and reviews
• Technical communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Design printed circuit boards, establish schematics and layouts for space applications and electrical ground support equipment, including review, analysis, and testing.

What we seek

• 7+ years of experience in electrical product development
• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Proficiency with eCAD tools like Siemens EDA Xpedition
• Knowledge of Monte Carlo/circuit simulation tools (e.g., OrCAD PSpice)
• Experience with Model-Based System Engineering (advantage)
• Familiarity with Requirements Management tools (e.g., IBM DOORS)
• Electronics circuit design and simulation expertise (Pspice, LTSpice, Matlab/Simulink, Modelica)
• Fluent English communication skills; German is a plus
• Self-motivation, responsibility, reliability
• Strong communication skills and teamwork experience
• Experience in Systems Engineering, architecture, and problem-solving
• Experience across the product lifecycle
• Minimum 5 years industry experience in electronics hardware development
• PCB/CCA design experience for various applications
• RF design experience (advantage)
• Experience in space or aviation (advantage)
• Embedded Software/VHDL experience (advantage)
• Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) experience (advantage)
