Zusammenfassung

Embotech in Zürich is seeking a Team Lead to own the full safety software lifecycle and guide a team of engineers delivering safety-critical software for autonomous driving.

You will mentor engineers developing perception algorithms, drive the V-Model lifecycle, coordinate releases, ensure verification and documentation, and uphold safety and cybersecurity standards across the stack.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics or a related field.
• Proficiency in modern C++ and safety-critical development.
• 3+ years leading software engineering teams in safety-critical domains.
• Experience with V-Model in safety-critical environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Excellent leadership and English communication skills.
• Familiarity with ISO 26262 / ISO 61508 / ISO 13849 is a plus.
• Experience with perception systems (e.g., LiDAR) is a plus.
• Knowledge of real-time and distributed systems is a plus.
• German language skills are a plus.

• Responsible for the team’s short- and long-term activities, planning for allocated deliverables, ensuring deadlines and quality.
• Driving detailed technical planning and coordination with project management and system leads.
• Foster a system oriented, quality oriented and strong safety and cybersecurity culture inside Embotech.

Requirements:

• Strong track record in developing software according to the V-Model in safety-critical environments
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
• Excellent leadership and communication skills in English
• Familiarity with safety standards such as ISO 26262, ISO 61508, or ISO 13849 is a plus
• Experience with perception systems and sensors (e.g., LiDAR) is a plus
• Cybersecurity knowledges is a plus
• Knowledge of real-time and distributed systems is a plus
• German is a plus
