In the Solutions, Services and New business models team, we want to onboard a smart and energetic self-starter who is passionate about understanding customer pain points, market dynamics, and delivering compelling content to bring the next print ecosystem to market. We are looking for a highly motivated global Product Manager to join our Software Product Team. You’ll have the opportunity to innovate and help accelerate growth of one of the company’s most profitable businesses. You will work with other Product Managers in the team, and alongside developers, product designers and go to market teams. You will conduct activities to discover, define, launch, learn and unlock future product growth. The job will include long-term strategic discoveries and also hands-on product operations and launches.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently identifies customer, reseller and competitive insights to be applied in the problem definition and solution design, through extensive market research activities (through direct customer interactions, quantitative research, focus groups, desk research).
- Identifies significant problems and opportunities to pursue that deliver value to customers and value to HP.
- Drives technology assets investigations from discovery to productization.
- Applies insights to create relevant value propositions for our end-users and channel partners.
- Contributes in the definition of new way of working in software development and agile methodologies.
- Leads the development of detailed product requirements to create comprehensive product specifications and designs.
- Is data fluent and is able to translate KPIs into insights and actions to improve business performance on products and solutions.
- Owns the business opportunity modelling and is able to articulate clear business cases for the different product initiatives.
- Develops product roadmaps, documents user stories and shepherds requirements through the review, design and development process in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Incorporates data, research and market analysis to inform product strategies and roadmaps.
- Continuous problem and product validation before, during and after solution’s development.
- Leads and motivates engineers and UI / UX teams to ideate, prioritize and deliver frictionless customer experiences.
- Connects and aligns product delivery with GTM (go to market) key stakeholders.
- Works in multi-disciplinary development team. Identifies when to pivot and aligns the team to drive forward.
- Develops and coordinates product management and marketing deliverables required for each product development stage and for product introduction.
- Prepares and delivers product trainings to different regional sales teams.
- Solutions growth management. Once launched a new solution, actively gathers qualitative feedback, tracks KPIs and identifies barriers & roadblocks for adoption, and prioritizes backlog of continuous value delivery drops.
Requirements
- College degree in Business / Technical.
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in SW related role.
- Highly valued experience in product discovery roles.
- Highly valued experience in customer facing roles.
- Highly valued experience in Print Service Providers segment.
- Highly valued experience in product lifecycle management.
- Strong Business acumen, able to model opportunity sizing, business model options, ROI and pricing scenarios.
- Data driven mindset, fluid in KPIs tracking and insights extraction.
- Strong communication skills, including technical and executive audiences.
- Experience working in cross-functional team.
