Job summary

Qim info SA in Switzerland is seeking an Application Integration & Support Engineer to coordinate, integrate, and maintain complex applications within simulation and modeling environments. Qim info is looking for an Application Integration & Support Engineer (M/F) for one of our clients.

Integrated within a multidisciplinary technical team, you will be responsible for coordinating, integrating, maintaining, and ensuring the operational readiness of complex applications, services, and systems within simulation and modeling environments.

In this high-value hybrid role, you will act as the direct technical liaison between software development teams, operational experts, maintenance teams, and end-users/customers.

1. System Integration & Validation

• Integrate new applications, services, and subsystems into the global environment.


• Analyze and master complex architectures, data flows, and inter-application interfaces.


• Design, execute, and validate test plans to ensure seamless project deployments.

2. Advanced Application Support (2nd & 3rd Level) & Development

• Analyze and resolve complex technical incidents (tracked via JIRA).


• Maintain, customize, and develop existing software components (Java and C# environments).


• Collaborate closely with engineering and maintenance teams to investigate root causes and implement fixes.

3. Coordination & Single Point of Contact (SPOC)

• Serve as the primary technical contact for reporting bugs and feature requests (Change Requests).


• Evaluate technical feasibility, workload estimates, cost impacts, and overall scope.


• Plan software releases (Release Management) using time-boxing principles and Agile/SCRUM framework priorities.

4. Quality, Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and update technical documentation for all assigned applications and services.


• Guarantee strict adherence to internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.


• Follow up on audit non-conformities and ensure implementation of required corrective actions.

Technical Requirements:

• Software Development: Hands-on proficiency in Java (Eclipse, Git) and/or C# (Visual Studio, Git).


• Architecture & Infrastructure: Solid knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and virtualized environments.


• Support & Tooling: Proven experience using JIRA and handling 2nd/3rd level incident management workflows.


• Methodology: Practical experience working in Agile / SCRUM environments.

Desirable Skills (Pluses):

• Knowledge of TIBCO or Puppet frameworks.


• Formal understanding of software testing concepts and quality assurance standards.
