In our R&D group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals in the form of hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications and PC software. In a multidisciplinary team of electrical and software engineers, you will contribute to the maintenance of hardware components and software development of tools, including CI / CD pipelines. The developed tools are in use worldwide to support the entire lifecycle of all Sonova hearing instruments and products.

• Support firmware developers in debugging problems with hardware and tools
• Develop tools and testing environment related to hardware
• Ensure that the various teams in Sonova R&D can use hardware for effective firmware testing
• Coordinate the distribution of new hardware to various R&D teams globally

Your profile

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical discipline
• Experience with hardware and measurement equipment
• Understanding of best practices and state-of-the-art in software development processes
• Knowledge of PCB schematic design, Python, Groovy for tests and test environment
• Experience with communication protocols and trace analysis is a plus
• Experience in the context of embedded software development is a plus
• Fluent in English; German is a plus
