Overview

This role focuses on elevating the online presence and engagement for a portfolio of Airbnb properties in Bocas del Toro, Panama. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing a content strategy that drives bookings and increases brand visibility. The position involves creating engaging reels, posts, and stories on a weekly basis, managing community engagement, implementing basic ad strategies, and delivering monthly performance reports. The work is project-based and can be performed remotely, with the potential for ongoing collaboration based on results.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a weekly content calendar for social media platforms, including Instagram and Facebook.
  • Create high-quality, engaging reels, posts, and stories tailored to the target audience.
  • Manage daily engagement with followers, responding to comments and messages promptly.
  • Execute basic paid ad campaigns to boost reach and drive bookings.
  • Monitor analytics and provide comprehensive monthly reports on performance and growth.
  • Collaborate with the property owner to align content with brand goals and seasonal promotions.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing social media accounts for hospitality, travel, or real estate brands.
  • Strong content creation skills, including video editing and graphic design for social media.
  • Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook, and social media management tools.
  • Ability to analyze metrics and adjust strategies for optimal engagement and conversion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
