Job Description:

Site Reliability Engineer - Windows Server, Python – 12 month + contract for an experienced SRE to join a globally operating Basel based company in the Financial Services sector.

Your tasks:

1. Design and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient systems, tools, and processes that ensure the availability and performance of our software products.
2. Create and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems that provide visibility into the health and performance of our systems and applications.
3. Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other issues that affect system reliability and performance.
4. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans, backup systems, and other measures that ensure the availability and integrity of our data.

Your experience/knowledge:

1. Strong experience as a Site Reliability Engineer, preferably within Financial Services.
2. Solid knowledge of supporting applications running on Windows Servers.
3. Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
4. Knowledge of Windows systems administration.
5. Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby.
6. Language skills: English.
