Zusammenfassung

Leica Geosystems, part of Hexagon, is seeking a Simulation Engineer to shape the next generation of high-precision products through advanced multi-physics simulations and virtual prototyping.

You will work in a collaborative, innovation-driven environment with flexible working models. The role requires 3–5 years in numerical simulation, strong physics knowledge, and English fluency (German a plus).

Qualifikationen

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in numerical simulation (FEA, multi-physics, or related areas).
• Solid understanding of physics and numerical methods.
• Experience with mechanical design and productisation is advantageous.
• Experience with Python scripting for process automation.
• Knowledge of MSC Software tools, LS-DYNA, and Siemens NX is beneficial.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset.
• Fluent in English; German is nice to have.
• Hands-on, proactive, with the ability to work independently.

• University degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in numerical simulation (FEA, multi-physics, or related areas)
• Solid understanding of physics and numerical methods
• Experience in mechanical design and productisation is an advantage
• Experience with or an affinity for process automation (e.g. Python scripting)
