AutoForm in Zürich is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer – ML-based Mechanical Simulation to advance ML-assisted FE simulations. You will extend synthetic data pipelines, optimize ML models for accuracy and inference cost, and integrate ML inference into a production-grade solver.
You will work with experts across BIW, simulation tech, and software engineering in an agile SCRUM setting, applying Python and C/C++, and contributing to robust, maintainable codebases.
To further improve the efficiency of computationally demanding assembly simulations, we are developing machine-learning-based (ML) methods to accelerate computationally intensive mechanical simulations. To support this development, we are looking for a software engineer with a solid background in numerical simulation, computational geometry, and machine learning in mechanics.
