Leica Geosystems is seeking an Application Engineer for Construction Trade Solutions to join a cross-functional, agile team in Heerbrugg. You will test hardware and software, translate customer needs into product specs, and define UI/UX for new measurement technologies.

You will train and support global sales, conduct market analyses for product development, and collaborate with R&D to drive innovation in construction software and solutions.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Surveying, Geomatics, Geodesy, Architecture or Civil Engineering.
• Experience with CAD/BIM software and digital construction processes.
• Experience with measuring and layout solutions on construction sites (Leica, Trimble, Topcon).
• Proficiency in English; German is a benefit.

• Join a multicultural, agile product management team driving innovation in Total Stations and construction software.
• Test hardware and software to ensure Leica Geosystems’ high quality standards.

• Provide product training and second-line support to global sales and support networks.

• Collaborate on-site in Heerbrugg and be present in the office at least three days per week.

This is you

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Surveying,
• Geomatics, Geodesy, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or long-term working experience in construction
• Knowledge of CAD and BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) as well as digital construction processes
• Affinity for software, software development, and
• process tools
• Working experience with measuring and/or layout solutions and field software on construction sites (e.g with Leica, Trimble, Topcon)
• Affinity for technology trends and interpret them with a product mindset
• Ability to interpret the customer’s applications and
• workflows
• Self-reliant personality with ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Motivated with good organization and planning skills
• Proficient in English (written and spoken), German is a benefit
