Gravis Robotics AG in Switzerland is advancing autonomy for heavy construction machines. This role seeks a strong ML/RL background with hands-on experience with real robotic systems.

You will build ML models to bridge the sim2real gap, select appropriate architectures, and identify unmodeled effects hindering transfer.

You will define validation metrics, monitor model drift over time, and partner with autonomy and simulation teams to influence controllers on the machine.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python and PyTorch capabilities.
• Solid experience modeling time-series or dynamical-system data from large datasets.

Aufgaben

• Build ML models to help bridge the sim2real gap.
• Decide architecture needed and back it with data.
• Characterize unmodeled effects that hamper sim2real transfer.
• Define performance metrics and validation methodology for model fidelity and sim2real transfer.
• Work with autonomy and simulation teams to influence on-machine controllers.
