CERN offers a Short Term Internship 2027 in Finance, Control & Audit. You will support professionals, learn new tools, and contribute to projects within an international, collaborative environment. This fully onsite internship requires pursuing a post-secondary degree and a willingness to engage in practical training.

Monthly allowance is provided (CHF 1,593). Start date is to be discussed; eligibility includes being a national of a CERN Member or Associate Member State and maintaining student

What you'll do

Your responsibilities

• Contribute to small-scale projects under the guidance of your supervisor.
• Collaborate with people from diverse backgrounds and share ideas in an international environment.

Your profile

• You are currently studying in an administrative, finance, or related field.
• You are required or encouraged by your university to complete a practical training period.
• You are eager to develop your skills through on-the-job learning.
• You enjoy teamwork and learning from others in a collaborative setting.
• Fundamental knowledge in your field of study.

Employment Conditions:

• Ideal Start Date: to be discussed
• Weekly Working Hours: 40
• Contract duration (in months): 1to 6
• Job Flexibility: Fully Onsite
• A monthly allowance of 1,593Swiss Francs.
• Entitlement to paid leave for contracts of 4 months or more.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria

• You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State .Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot, Croatian and Turkish nationals, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
• You are pursuing a post-secondary education degree (Technical/Administrative diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
• You have a good knowledge of English or French.
• You remain enrolled as a full-time student during your studentship.
