Job summary

CERN invites students currently pursuing post-secondary studies in computer science or information technology to join our Information Technologies team for a Short Term Internship in 2027. This onsite program offers hands-on exposure to real projects, learning opportunities, and collaboration in an international environment in Geneva.

Interns will work under supervision, gain experience through practical tasks, and contribute to team activities while developing technical and professional skills

Employment Conditions

• Weekly Working Hours: 40
• Contract duration (in months): 1to 6
• Job Flexibility: Fully Onsite
• A monthly allowance of 1,593Swiss Francs.
• Entitlement to paid leave for contracts of 4 months or more.

Be sure to meet the eligibility criteria

• You are a national of a CERN Member State or Associate Member State .Currently, we cannot consider applications from Pakistani, Lithuanian, Latvian, Cypriot, Croatian and Turkish nationals, as the ceiling defined under Article II.5 of the Associate Membership Agreement has been reached.
• You are pursuing a post-secondary education degree (Technical/Administrative diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree).
• You have a good knowledge of English or French.
• You remain enrolled as a full-time student during your studentship.
