The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) seeks a skilled Partnerships and Fundraising Consultant to enhance its fundraising efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in developing strategic partnerships and fundraising opportunities aligned with feminist principles. This remote role requires expertise in networking and stakeholder engagement, with an expected commitment of 80-100% full-time over a 6-month contract, starting August 1, 2025.

Who we are
The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF) is a global membership-based feminist peacebuilding organisation that works to create a world of permanent peace built on feminist foundations of freedom, justice, nonviolence, human rights, and equality for all. WILPF is also an international non-governmental organisation (NGO) with National Sections in over 40 countries, an International Secretariat based in Geneva, and a New York office. Since our establishment in 1915, we have brought together feminist activists from around the world who are united in working for peace by non-violent means and promoting political, economic and social justice for all.
WILPF’s vision is reflected and embedded in our Constitution, our 2015 Manifesto, and WILPF International Programme (2022–2025), which guides the work, values, and actions of the key bodies of the organisation, including the International Secretariat (IS).
Who we are looking for
WILPF is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic expert-level feminist partnerships and fundraising expert to build on WILPF’s fundraising approach by identifying, and connecting WILPF to, alternative partners, funders and donors aligned with WILPF’s ethical fundraising principles.
The fundraising consultant will have a strong track record of successful partnerships development for like-minded organizations and will bring WILPF into their existing funding networks to build relationships and partnerships with new and existing donors in order to create a sustainable development model within WILPF founded on our collective feminist values and vision for social justice and human rights.

Interdependencies and Reporting
The Consultant will report to the Secretary-General, and will work closely with the Fundraising Working Group, specifically its Co-Chairs (the Programme Director and Programme Advisor), and other IS programme staff as required for fundraising initiatives.

Start Date and Work Schedule
The expected start date is 1 August 2025, with an exact work schedule to be determined upon hiring, and with the possibility of extension dependent on confirmed funding streams. The intention is that the consultant will work 80-100% full-time on the agreed deliverables.
Payment
Consultancy fees to be paid monthly, upon receipt of an invoice, as per completion of the agreed upon deliverables listed above.
Location
This position is remote and can be located anywhere, but location in (or close to) areas in the Central European Standard Time Zone (or within a difference of +/- 2 hours) is a plus. Office space is available in Geneva and New York City should the candidate prefer to work onsite.
