Zusammenfassung

Viking is seeking an experienced Hotel General Manager to lead the onboard hotel operation across its fleet. You will coordinate Department Heads, uphold STAR Service Standards, and drive guest satisfaction through strong financial oversight and multi-cultural leadership.

Role requires shipboard GM experience, cost/revenue focus, and exceptional English communication. You will report to Hotel Operations and work within a dynamic, globally distributed team.

Qualifikationen

• 5+ years of Hotel General Manager experience with a focus on cost and revenue, and a hands-on operations approach.
• Previous shipboard experience is mandatory.
• Exposure to financial analysis and budgeting is required.
• Impeccable English with strong oral and written skills; additional language is advantageous.
• Proven ability to lead a multi-cultural team and maintain high service standards.
• Strong administration skills and proficiency with PC databases, spreadsheets, and word processing.

Aufgaben

• Plan and oversee the entire Hotel operation on board the ship, coordinating Departments and events.
• Plan cruise layouts with Department Heads and ensure accurate execution per STAR Service Standards.
• Oversee sales of shore excursions and future cruises, and verify revenue against targets.
• Control costs and budgets across the ship's on-board finances, including inventories and PO management.
• Provide leadership to direct reports and maintain daily operational updates with the team.
• Maintain communication with corporate partners and ensure stock targets meet guest counts.
