Avacone is seeking a Microsoft SharePoint Farm Administrator to operate, secure, and maintain its on-premises SharePoint Server environments. You will run day-to-day farm administration across production and non-production environments, lead incident response, and collaborate with infrastructure, security, database, and application teams to ensure platform reliability.

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting production SharePoint Server farms.
• Proficiency with Central Administration and PowerShell for health checks and maintenance.
• Experience patching farms, coordinating maintenance windows.
• Working knowledge of Windows Server, IIS, Active Directory, DNS, TLS, and SQL Server in SharePoint ops.
• Ability to document incident impact, risks, and recovery status clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Administer multi-server SharePoint farms using Central Administration and PowerShell.
• Monitor farm health, availability, performance, and capacity; troubleshoot with logs and monitoring tools.
• Plan updates, configuration changes, and upgrades; validate in non-production environments and verify service health.
• Manage farm security, service accounts, authentication settings, TLS certificates, and privileged access.
• Maintain backup and recovery procedures with database and infrastructure teams; test restores.
• Provide advanced support for platform incidents and document root causes and corrective actions.
• Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and maintain runbooks and topology diagrams.
