Job summary

Avacone in Basel, Switzerland seeks a SharePoint Support Analyst to deliver day-to-day technical support for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services. You will own tickets from triage to resolution, helping users work with SharePoint sites, document libraries, and lists, while collaborating with teams to maintain governance and improve the user experience.

Qualifications

Hands-on experience supporting SharePoint Online in an enterprise or managed services environment.
Experience with SharePoint sites, document libraries, lists, metadata, versioning, and search.
Comfort explaining technical issues to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

Triage, investigate, and resolve SharePoint incidents and service requests within SLA.
Troubleshoot site access, permissions, external sharing, document libraries, search, and OneDrive sync.
Fulfill approved requests for provisioning and configuration per governance.
Diagnose issues involving SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive; escalate with steps.
Maintain ticket records and write knowledge base articles.
Guide users and site owners on collaboration and sharing.
Identify recurring issues and propose improvements.
Support testing and post-release validation for changes and migrations.
