Your Role

As a Senior Windows System Engineer at Bank J. Safra Sarasin, you are part of the Windows System Engineering Team, providing Windows and Citrix-based infrastructure services to our bank and supporting operations and projects. You are interested in improving our setup according to industry best practices and are willing to take on responsibilities in an international context.

Your Responsibilities

• Perform daily operational tasks necessary for providing a stable and robust environment, including monitoring, proactive maintenance, and problem resolution.
• Support infrastructure-related projects in an international context.
• Design solutions and work them out as a technical expert, including security aspects.
• Implement infrastructure-related projects and services in the Windows area (Active Directory, MSSQL, MS Cluster, etc.).
• Provide support as a member of the on-call organization.

Your Profile

• University degree (university / FH) in Computer Science.
• Professional qualification as an IT specialist.
• At least 3 years of practical experience in a Microsoft server-based enterprise environment.
• MCSE certification is a plus.
• Successful track record in ITIL methodology v3 or higher.
• Knowledge of Exchange, AD, Windows, and SQL Server is required.
• Customer-oriented, open-minded, and able to work as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize problems and work with various stakeholders.
• Willingness to take responsibility and work under pressure.
• Fluency in English; fluency in German is a plus.
