Coherent is seeking a Wet Process Engineer in Switzerland to lead the development and qualification of wet‑chemical surface preparation for epitaxial overgrowth. You will champion process robustness, work with R&D and production teams, and help transition development into high‑volume manufacturing.

The role requires hands‑on wet processing experience, strong analytical skills, and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced cleanroom environment.

Qualifikationen

• BSc or MSc in a relevant technical discipline.
• Hands-on wet-chemical processing experience required.
• Fluency in German and English desirable.

Aufgaben

• Set up, develop, and qualify wet‑chemical surface preparation processes for epitaxial overgrowth.
• Plan and execute DOE, qualification runs, and test studies to establish robust processes.
• Analyze process data and provide data‑driven improvement recommendations.
• Develop monitoring and control strategies for stable manufacturing.
• Collaborate with Epitaxy, R&D, Production and Process Engineering to optimize flows.
