Axetris AG in central Switzerland is seeking a self-reliant Process Engineer for the Backend Wafer Production Engineering group. You will drive continuous improvement of processes and equipment in wafer manufacturing and transfer new processes to serial production.

The role offers modern infrastructure and a state-of-the-art cleanroom, with opportunities to collaborate with highly qualified professionals in an internationally leading high-tech company near Lucerne.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s degree in Materials Science, Physics or Chemistry or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in semiconductor manufacturing, ideally in the area of dicing or pick-and-place.
• Sound knowledge of quality and process management methods (FMEA, 8D, Ishikawa, root cause analysis).
• Very good command of German and English, both written and spoken.
• High level of initiative with strong implementation skills and a hands-on approach.

Aufgaben

• Responsibility for the continuous improvement of processes and associated equipment.
• Development and optimization of production parameters in wafer manufacturing.
• Transfer of new processes into serial production.
• Specification, evaluation, installation and qualification of new systems and equipment.
• Ensuring 2nd-level support for equipment- and process-related issues in production.
