Job summary

Jobgether on behalf of a partner company is seeking a Senior QA Engineer (Web) to ensure the quality, reliability and performance of modern web applications. The role is fully remote and based in Switzerland, with an equal split between manual testing and test automation.

You will own QA activities from reviewing specifications to validating production releases, collaborate with Product Managers and engineers, and help improve test coverage across browsers and devices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and end-to-end testing processes.
• Hands-on API testing with REST/GraphQL and Postman.
• Experience with cross-browser and responsive testing across modern browsers.
• Automation experience with Playwright and JavaScript/TypeScript.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA for features from hand-off to production release.
• Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Estimate testing efforts and meet deadlines.
• Perform functional, exploratory, regression, UI/UX, cross-browser, and API testing.
• Write and maintain automated tests with Playwright/TS.
• Balance manual and automated testing ~50/50.
• Review test code and participate in peer reviews.
• Collaborate with PMs, front-end and back-end engineers, and architects.
• Validate builds and monitor production performance.
