Zusammenfassung

Swisslinx in Switzerland is seeking a Senior Test Engineer – Automated Testing to develop, execute and document automated verification tests, improving efficiency and quality across hardware and software.

You will lead a small team of four Test Engineers, coordinate verification campaigns, and work with Product Engineering, Software Development, Hardware Development, and Verification teams; requires 5–8 years in test engineering and strong Python/Robot Framework experience.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Engineering, Applied Sciences or a related technical discipline such as Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or Physics.
• 5–8 years of experience in requirements-based product testing, verification, validation or quality engineering.
• Strong experience with modern software development and verification processes.
• At least five years of hands-on experience with Python and Robot Framework.
• Strong experience developing and executing automated HIL test sequences.
• Experience conducting automated verification campaigns and analysing results.
• Strong hardware and software troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with structured data analysis.
• Knowledge of REST and embedded communication protocols such as I2C, Modbus or BACnet.
• At least five years of experience with Git, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Office and Windows.
• Three to five years of experience coordinating a small team or working in project management.
• Very good German and English communication skills.
