• Experience building shared platform services from design to production and post go‑live support.
• Ability to explain build‑vs‑buy and native‑vs‑open‑source decisions for platforms and services.
• Proven track record leading evaluations or PoCs with clear criteria and documented outcomes.
• Ability to plan work for a small platform engineering team with structured work packages and iterative delivery.
• Hands‑on ownership of operating model, support model, SLAs, monitoring and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end delivery across architecture, engineering, security and operations.
• Translate target architecture into an executable roadmap with work packages, milestones and dependencies.
• Lead product and technology evaluations and PoCs with documented criteria.
• Plan and steer the work of a small platform engineering team; coordinate architects, security, operations and vendors.
• Establish production‑ready managed services on Azure including processes, controls and service ownership.
• Drive the transition into operations and manage the service after go‑live: operating model, support model, SLAs and monitoring.
