Job summary

Try&Hire is seeking an experienced aerospace structural analyst to perform classical stress analyses and FEA on metallic aircraft structures in an on-site role in Switzerland. You will develop substantiation documents and test plans, supporting CS-23 certification activities while collaborating with design, certification, and multidisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aerospace stress analysis, strong FEA tool proficiency (NASTRAN/FEMAP), and solid English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Around 5+ years of experience in aerospace stress analysis, including metallic aircraft structures.
• Proficiency with FEA tools such as NASTRAN, FEMAP, or comparable analysis software.
• Knowledge of CS-23 certification requirements.
• Experience with cabin or cockpit structures is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English (C1), written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Perform classical stress analyses and FEA for primary and secondary metallic aircraft structures
• Develop stress reports, structural substantiation documents, test plans, and test reports
• Support compliance demonstration activities according to CS-23 certification requirements
• Collaborate with design, certification, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Interface with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and airworthiness authorities
• Take ownership of structural topics within an aircraft development project
