Job summary

Beyond Gravity in Zurich seeks an Analysis Engineer to perform mechanical analyses of spacecraft components and support testing and model correlation. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, documenting results and presenting analyses to customers in English.

The candidate should have a degree in mechanical engineering and hands-on FE analysis experience, with familiarity in Abaqus, Nastran, Femap, and Python. Hybrid work and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical analysis work.
• Experience in writing technical reports.
• Experience from FE (Finite Element) analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical analyses of central tubes, adapters, and dispensers for spacecraft launch.
• Carry out static, dynamic, thermal, and buckling analyses and related checks.
• Develop documentation and participate in testing and model correlation.
• Review models, analyses, and documentation; present results in English.
• Work with Abaqus, Nastran, Femap, HyperWorks; write Python scripts.
• Collaborate with project teams and support cost estimation.
