Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking a Senior SRE Engineer based in Switzerland to build reliable, scalable cloud infrastructure for an international gaming platform. You will shape DevOps and SRE practices, contribute to technical strategy, and mentor teams in Kubernetes-native approaches.

You’ll work on observability, automation, CI/CD, and incident management, collaborating with development teams to improve reliability and deployment processes in a modern cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or related infra role.
• Hands-on Kubernetes and container orchestration in production.
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
• Experience with high-availability production systems.
• SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL knowledge.
• Observability stacks with Prometheus, Grafana, exporters, alerts.
• Scripting in Python and Bash.
• CI/CD, GitOps, and platform engineering understanding.
• Root-cause analysis and preventive reliability practices.
• Autonomy and proactive automation mindset.
• Strong collaboration with software teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and evolve DevOps and SRE practices with scalable reliability.
• Contribute to technical strategy and engineering culture.
• Develop and improve gaming platform infrastructure for availability and scalability.
• Design and enhance monitoring and observability systems.
• Participate in paid on-call rotations and incident response.
• Automate infrastructure operations and repetitive workflows.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve CI/CD and change delivery.
• Mentor engineers and promote Kubernetes-native practices.
• Influence cloud infrastructure evolution balancing performance and simplicity.
• Investigate incidents with root-cause analysis for long-term prevention.
