We are seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution architecture and digital transformation initiatives within the telecommunications and enterprise technology domain.
The role involves defining IT strategies and architectural roadmaps, translating business requirements into scalable technology solutions, and driving the design and delivery of complex Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS). The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and delivery partners to modernize legacy platforms, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.
The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in telecom architecture, service fulfilment, customer order management, network inventory, product and service management, and enterprise system integration.
- Define enterprise IT strategies, architectural roadmaps, and solution blueprints aligned with business objectives and digital transformation priorities.
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture for complex telecommunications transformation programs across BSS, OSS, CRM, order management, service fulfilment, and network inventory.
- Translate business and process requirements into functional architecture, technical designs, interface specifications, and implementation roadmaps.
- Drive the modernization of legacy systems, including migration from on-premises environments to cloud-based platforms where applicable.
- Design solutions for customer order management, product catalogue management, sales and service fulfilment, provisioning, activation, and number management.
- Develop data and information frameworks for B2B and B2C telecom products and services, including internet, VPN, SD-WAN, voice, mobile, IoT, and connectivity solutions.
- Architect integrations across CRM, billing, inventory, orchestration, provisioning, and other enterprise application platforms.
- Define end-to-end workflows, business process models, interface requirements, and system integration scenarios across internal and external platforms.
- Lead solution design for digital channels, customer portals, sales applications, field-service solutions, and other customer-facing transformation initiatives.
- Apply relevant telecommunications frameworks and standards, including TM Forum eTOM, TAM, SID, and Open APIs, to support consistent and scalable architecture.
- Evaluate existing application landscapes, identify opportunities for simplification, and develop architectural approaches for legacy system retirement and platform consolidation.
- Lead architectural workshops, requirements analysis, solution reviews, and technical discussions with business stakeholders and delivery teams.
- Collaborate with engineering, development, testing, infrastructure, and project management teams to ensure alignment between architecture and implementation.
- Provide technical guidance to architects, functional consultants, and engineering teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Support presales activities, including RFP/RFQ responses, solution proposals, proof-of-concept initiatives, and technical due diligence.
- Identify architectural risks, dependencies, integration challenges, and delivery constraints, recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure that proposed solutions meet agreed requirements for scalability, reliability, maintainability, security, and operational effectiveness.
- 15+ years of experience in IT solution architecture, enterprise technology consulting, telecommunications, or digital transformation.
- Extensive experience in end-to-end solution design and architecture for enterprise-scale technology programs.
- Strong understanding of telecommunications BSS and OSS domains, including CRM, billing, service fulfilment, provisioning, activation, and network inventory.
- Experience with customer order management, product management, sales and marketing systems, and digital customer channels.
- Experience designing integrations across complex enterprise application landscapes and defining functional workflows and interface requirements.
- Understanding of telecom product and service architectures across fixed, mobile, enterprise connectivity, and digital services.
- Experience in legacy platform modernization, application migration, system integration, and technology transformation.
- Ability to engage business and technical stakeholders, facilitate architectural decisions, and guide implementation teams.
- Experience supporting presales, solution consulting, RFP/RFQ responses, and technical due diligence.
- Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience with telecom platforms and solutions such as Nokia FlowOne, Amdocs Network Inventory, Comptel, Pega Order Management, or similar technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics CRM and enterprise CRM integration patterns.
- Knowledge of TM Forum frameworks, including eTOM, TAM, SID, and Open APIs.
- Experience with network technologies and service models such as FTTx, xDSL, mobile networks, VPN, MPLS, SD-WAN, VoIP, and cloud connectivity.
- Exposure to cloud migration and modernization of enterprise application platforms.
- Experience in business process management, workflow orchestration, and service automation.
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
- Exposure to robotic process automation and process improvement initiatives.
- Strategic thinking and enterprise architecture planning.
- Strong solution design and technical decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into practical technology solutions.
