Job summary

avec compétence GmbH is seeking a technical leader and software architect to own a group-wide machine software platform, guiding two development teams in Switzerland. You will share architectural direction and drive ongoing platform development using .NET/C#, Angular, and TypeScript.

You’ll build a strong developer community, establish required processes and standards, and support Product Owners in technical backlog refinement in an international, hybrid setup.

Qualifications

• Degree in a software-related field from a university or HEI.
• Several years in senior technical roles such as architect or senior developer.
• Strong .NET/C# expertise; Angular/TypeScript are a plus.
• Ability to explain complex technical topics to stakeholders.
• Experience in international and hybrid development environments.

Job description

You take on technical leadership and architectural responsibility for a group-wide machine software platform, guiding two development teams.

Tasks

• Take technical leadership for implementing a machine software platform with two development teams
• Share system architecture responsibility and contribute to the platform's architectural direction
• Drive continuous development of the platform using .NET/C#, Angular, and TypeScript
• Build a strong developer community and introduce required processes, standards, and systems
• Support Product Owners in defining technical enablers and reflecting maintenance topics in the backlog

Profile

• Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable field from a university, university of applied sciences, or higher technical college
• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Developer/Architect or in a comparable senior technical role
• Strong expertise in .NET/C#; Angular and TypeScript are a plus
• Ability to communicate complex technical and architectural topics clearly to developers and stakeholders
• Experience working in international and hybrid development environments
• Good English skills; German is an advantage
