Senior Software Developer (all genders) - no remote option

Full Time

Permanent contract

• Conception, development, maintenance, evolution, testing, and documentation of the next generation software solutions
• That software supports business of the major sport events like Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games or World Cups
• Ensure the highest quality and reliability of the software you produce
• Managing the high level specifications and best practices for the team
• Mentor and coach developers through proactively looking for opportunities to increase their skills, as well as act as a technical leader within the team
• Additional responsibilities include (but are not limited to) to ensure engineering maturity and quality control
• Further: to lead and push a culture of excellence and continuous improvement, while creating a safe place for developers to experiment with radical and high risk changes

Profile

• 5+ years’ experience as a professional software developer
• You hold a degree in Software Engineering or equivalent
• You are resilient and able to operate in a dynamic and sometimes stressful environment
• You are structured, systematic and organized in your way of working you prioritize according the deadlines
• You are optimistic, motivating and visionary, you are available for travels abroad

Professional requirements

• You have proven experience in developing web applications with .NET / C# backend deployed in Docker or AKS
• Frontend technology knowledge is a plus
• You have experience of automated testing and deployments, as well as good understanding of Agile principles (XP, Scrum, Kanban).

Languages

• Strong communication skills in English are mandatory.
