Temporary assignment approx. 9 months on site in Basel, Switzerland

BK Tech are building a 2x15 MW pellet energy plant project in Basel and are now looking for a person to head up the finalization of the project. The mechanical installation is close to an end while electrical, instrumentation, insulation installations are about to start.

Senior Project/Site/Construction Manager

We are looking for a senior manager heading up the finalization of the project including the installation of electrical & instrumentation, insulation and commissioning of the plant at site in Basel, Switzerland.

The person needs to be experienced with electrical & instrumentation installations in order to manage the work in a good and efficient way and to be able to solve problems and take decisions when needed to keep the installation running.

In addition to the electrical skills the person needs to be an experienced project management used to run project according to the schedule, conduct reporting, financial follow up etc. As our senior representative on the site you will also be our representative in relevant meetings on site.

The work as manager on site include:

• Manage subcontractors and follow up on planning, progress, and reporting—down to the day-to-day detail.
• Take full responsibility for bothdaily operational coordinationandsite administration.
• Reporting and project follow-up, internal and external
• Serve as thelink between our project team and the client
• Communicate fluently inboth English and German, and ideally be familiar with Swiss work culture and standards.
