Helvetica Partners is seeking a Senior Server & Infrastructure Engineer to ensure performance, security and continuous improvement of the organisation's IT environment across multiple locations in Switzerland.

You will act as a technical reference for server infrastructure, design, implement and maintain server & storage environments, and collaborate with network, security and application teams, as well as external partners.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience as a Server Engineer or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Strong hands-on knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Solid experience with VMware, ESXi, Hyper-V or VDI.
• Experience with server, storage and infrastructure lifecycle management.
• Good understanding of infrastructure security and patch management.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors and IT service providers.

Aufgaben

• Design, implement and maintain server and storage infrastructure.
• Ensure reliability, security and performance of server environments.
• Define and maintain infrastructure standards: Windows Server, Linux, VMware, patch management and virtualization.
• Manage server assets and infrastructure lifecycle.
• Plan capacity, investments and hardware replacement.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and configurations.
• Gather and prioritise infrastructure requirements from projects and stakeholders.
• Prepare and review technical specifications.
• Represent server infrastructure in IT projects and governance meetings.
• Contribute to infrastructure and digital transformation initiatives.
• Coordinate 3rd level support with international IT teams.
• Identify risks and opportunities; ensure continuous improvement.
